Pesticide Program
Pesticide Training is provided by a Certified Pesticide Applicator to all employees of McHenry Plantation Inc. regardless if they will using a natural product for pest control, such as Rosemary or Garlic Oil, Rubbing Alcohol or a pesticide with a caution rating (safest rating).
Our Pesticide Applicators participate in a continued education program with the State of California at least once a year.
Each employee is also trained on how to prepare the area for any type of application, as well as, clean-up of the products and the area after the application.
Each employee is trained on the disposal of each product.
Each employee must sign a Pesticide Use Training form which is kept on file within the corporate office.
Our Company has a Pesticide Business License which is provided by the State of California only if you have Certified Pesticide Applicators.
Pesticide Insurance
The State of Califorina Agriculture Department requires a special Pesticide and Pollution Insurance Certificate.
This insurance certificate is separate from any other type of insurance and is not provided by most insurance companies.
This certificate is only provided to companies holding a State Pesticide License as well as, having training and certificied applicators permit.
If you apply any type of chemical (does not need to be a pesticide) on a property you must have this insurance certificate otherwise the fines start at $5,000.00 and are not limited to the company applying the chemcial, but also can be fined to their Client.
